The Belerion Project
The Belerion Project
A study and research group investigating earth energy and geomantic, psychoactive and psycho-spiritual factors in operation at ancient sites in the megalithic landscape of West Penwith, Cornwall.
This project is taking shape in the first half of 2025, to begin work more seriously from September 2025, for an initial three years. We held our inaugural meeting on spring equinox, 20th March 2025 in Pen Sans.
We seek to build a core of committed people to carry out field research and other studies. There is scope for contributions from individuals with less availability, or with specific skills and interests who live elsewhere.
The overall aim is to produce an eventual online resource presenting the results of this research.
The project is designed in two parallel parts:
- whole-group field research into a selection of 40-50 ancient sites around Penwith, and energy-surveys of them, using protocols and lines of enquiry in a systematic way;
- Individual and small-group projects investigating specific interests members themselves have, to add to the overall body of work.
It's an evolving process. The people who show up are those who will evolve it.
To join, you need to have lived in West or East Penwith for at least a year (there are good reasons for this). Visitors from elsewhere will be welcome up to a point: we need to maintain project continuity and consistency in this ongoing programme of study and research, and to reduce imported ideas and cultural colonialism.
The initial stages are being midwifed by Rachel Smart, Kai Reogh and Palden Jenkins.
